Al-Raqqa | Turkish forces bombard three villages near M4 highway in Ain Issa district

Al-Raqqa province: SOHR activists have reported that the Turkish forces have shelled, with heavy artillery, several positions near the M4 highway in Ain Issa district, north of al-Raqqa, where the shells hit al-Mashirfa and Jahbal villages and the silos of Ain Issa in the northern countryside of al-Raqqa. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

 

On October 9, the Turkish forces and their proxies shelled with mortar shells al-Ittihad gas station in the eastern countryside of Ain Eissa district.

 

While, on October 8, the Turkish-backed factions targeted with heavy machineguns a civilian passenger car on M4 road between Ain Eissa and Jalbia village, causing material damage.

 

Similarly, they shelled Ma’aleq and al-Mukhayam villages on October 6. However, no casualties were reported.

 

Also, on October 5, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces fired a guided missile on regime military vehicle, while traveling on the M4 highway, near Ain Issa district in northern al-Raqqah, which is the capital of the Autonomous Administration in the province. The attack left four regime soldiers injured, some seriously, and they were taken to hospitals in Ain Issa.

 

On October 1, SOHR activists reported that Turkish artillery fire targeted SDF positions in the vicinity of Ma’aleq village in Ain Issa countryside, north of al-Raqqah.
