SOHR | “Reports of brining military reinforcement by Turkish forces to surrounding areas of Ain al-Arab (Kobani) untrue”

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have confirmed that the reports of the arrival of a military column of Turkish special forces and another military column comprising tanks and personnel carriers in Sarouj town adjacent Ain al-Arab city (Kobani) in eastern Aleppo are completely untrue.

SOHR sources have also refute the reports on military movements by Turkish forces in the surrounding areas of Ain al-Arab (Kobani), confirming that tense calm is prevailing in the region, except for sporadic bombardment on the frontlines.

These false reports come as a part of the propaganda by media outlets affiliated to Turkish, their proxy factions and SDF.

On October 11, SOHR sources reported that Russian military police run joint patrol with the Turkish forces in Ain al-Arab. The patrol, composed of eight Turkish and Russian military police from Aashma village some 20 km western Ain al-Arab. The patrol tour coincided with hovering of two Russian helicopters in the region.
