For “fund transfer and circulation of false reports” | Regime judicial authorities summon head of “Youth Party for Development and Alteration” for investigation

The “Youth Party for Development and Alteration” has stated that the financial judge in Damascus has summoned Perwin Ibrahim the General Secretary of the party for investigation on charge of “transferring funds and circulating false reports”.

The Kurdish party which operates in regime-held areas has issued a statement, of which the Syrian Observatory obtained a copy, condemning the propaganda by the Syrian regime and its policy of “fabricating” accusations against the opposition, as it described the charges against Perwin Ibrahim as “implausible” and that they were based on no evidences. However, the party has stressed on the integrity of the judiciary.

It is worth noting that the “Youth Party for Development and Alteration” was formed in 2012 in areas under the control of the Syrian regime, and it is one of the national opposition parties in Syria. The party has been repeatedly criticized the working mechanism of the Syrian regime institutions and the roles of officials.
