Al-Qunaitra province: SOHR activists have reported that the freed prisoner Medhat Saleh, former member of People’s Assembly and head of Golan Affairs Office of the Prime Minister of the Syrian regime, was assassinated by Israeli forces in Ain al-Tina region in al-Qunaitra near his occupied hometown Majdal Shams city.

The victim was born on 1968, in Majdal Shams in the occupied Syrian Golan heights, where he worked as a carpenter before he was arrested by Israeli authorities on August 11, 1985.
