Left nine fatalities nearly a week ago | HTS arrests Afrin city bombers

The Public Security Service of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in Idlib province has announced that it arrested the cell which detonated the booby-trapped car in Afrin city on October 11. In a statement issued today, HTS Public Security Service confirmed that it arrested the three persons carried out the explosion which left nine people dead, including five civilians. The pictures posted by the Public Security Service showed the three persons, after being arrested, with marks of torture on their bodies.

 

On October 11, SOHR sources reported that Afrin Police arrested two suspected young men who were involved in the explosion in overcrowded place and took them to its detention centers. SOHR activists had documented the death of nine civilians, they were four fighters of Ankara-backed factions and five civilians among them there were three people, including a female, inside the exploded car, they all were killed in car-bomb explosion in Afrin city.
