After dispute over narcotics trafficking | Drug dealer shot dead by Turkish-backed militiamen in eastern Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that a drug dealer was killed during exchange of fire with militiamen of the Turkish-backed ninth Division at a checkpoint of the division near al-Amarenah village in Jarabulus countryside in eastern Aleppo, in “Euphrates Shield” areas.

According to SOHR sources, a dispute over narcotics trafficking led to the exchange of fire between the two sides, which resulted in the death of the drug dealer and burning of a military vehicle of the Turkish-backed division.

On September 16, SOHR activists reported that violent clashes erupted between Luwaa al-Shamal on one side and al-Jabha al-Shamiyah on the other this evening, in al-Balikha village in the countryside of Akhtrin city in the northern Aleppo countryside.

According to SOHR sources, members of Liwaa al-Shamal attempted to storm the house of an al-Jabha al-Shamiyah member, causing eruption of violent clashes with heavy and medium weapons between both factions.
