Renewed bombardment | Turkish forces shell villages and towns controlled by SDF and regime forces in Tel Tamr

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported renewed rocket fire by Turkish forces on positions were Syria Democratic Forces and regime forces are deployed, as the Turkish rockets hit positions in al-Dardarah and Tel Shenan in in Tel Tamr countryside in northern al-Hasakah. However, mo casualties have been reported.

 

Last night, SOHR activists reported that the Turkish forces bombarded with heavy artillery al-Dardara village southern of Tel Tamr in al-Hasakah countryside this evening. However, no casualties were reported.

 

This came after five days of cautious calm in Tel Tamr frontlines.

 

On October 12, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces renewed ground shelling in the evening, targeting civilians’ houses in Tel Tamr countryside in al-Hasakah province. The shelling was concentrated on the Assyrian villages of Tel Keifjy, Tel Shinan and Tel Joma’a, which caused destruction of several houses and damage to civilians’ properties. The Turkish shelling also hit churches, mosques and graveyards in these villages.
