Aleppo | Turkish ground bombardment in Kurdish-held areas leaves two children injured

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that two children sustained several wounds this evening, due to Turkish ground shelling by forces stationed in Kalgibrin on a house inhabited by members of regime forces in al-Shaikh Eissa village in Kurdish-held areas of the northern countryside of Aleppo, amid a state of panic and fears among the village’s residents.

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces fired several rockets on positions in Tel Rifaat district in the northern countryside of Aleppo. However, no casualties were reported.

It is worth noting that Tel Rifaat is under the control of Turkish and regime forces and hosts a Russian military base. While the Turkish rocket fire comes as a part of ongoing military escalation by the Turkish forces on the region.
