Peace Spring | Al-Hamzah Division brings five military vehicles in al-Hasakah countryside
Al-Hasakah province: A group of members of Turkey-backed al-Hamzah division has stormed in the early hours of Thursday, village of al-Amiryah, under control of al-Manakherr countryside in Tal Mur countryside near M4 Road. Members of the faction have launched an operation to searching several houses in the village.
The faction has brought five military cars that are provided with heavy machineguns during the assault on pretext of searching for wanted members, but it has not arrested anyone. It is worth noting that the area was abandoned by men and adults and only women stayed.
The village is stationed withing the are of the Spring peace that live in state of chaos and violations of the human rights by the controlling factions.
On Oct. 15, SOHR activists have reported that the Military Police, al-Hamza and al-Sultan Murad Divisions escorted by military vehicles stormed “Luzy” village in the south-east of Ras al-Ain (Sere Kaniye) in “Peace Spring” areas in al-Hasakah countryside in the early hours of Friday morning.
Local sources confirmed that the raid took place after Turkish-backed factions surrounded the village, blocked the roads to it, and prevented residents from leaving their houses.
The sources reported that the factions members trespassed the civilians’ houses and verbally abused women who expressed their rejection of the barbaric practices of the militiamen.
Moreover, two women and a man were arrested and their mobiles were confiscated on charges of “communication with SDF”.
On October 12, SOHR activists reported that members of al-Hamza Division stormed a house in al-Bezez alley in Ras al-Ain (Sere Kaniye) in “Peace Spring” areas in al-Hasakah countryside, to take over the house under the pretext that the “house was owned by a man who worked previously with the Autonomous Administration”. Al-Hamza Division’s members ordered the inhabitants to evacuate the house immediately.
While on October 1, SOHR activists reported that militiamen of Suqur al-Sunna of the 20th Division beat a woman in al-Udwaneya village, as she tried to prevent the Turkish-backed militiamen from arresting her husband.
On the other hand, dignitaries of the region met with militiamen of the factions to defuse the dispute and demand the release of the detained man.
