De-escalation zone | Regime forces renew rocket fire

SOHR activists have documented in the early hours of Sunday rocket fire by the regime forces on villages and towns of Safhoun, Kafr Ewid, al-Futirah in Jabal al-Zawiyah in south Idlib where Turkish bases and points are stationed. But, no casualties have been reported yet.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that a regime soldier was killed and others were injured by gunfire by opposition faction’s snipers in al-Hadada frontline in the northern countryside of Latakia.

 

On the other hand, a young man and his mother were injured after opposition factions operating in Sahl al-Ghab had shelled Jurin town with rockets in the western countryside of Hama. The factions also targeted regime positions in the same area.

 

Meanwhile, regime forces have bombarded, with artillery shells, al-Bara village in Jabal al-Zawiyah and Arhab village in western Aleppo. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

 

SOHR activists had documented the injury of four civilians, including two children and a woman, as a result of rocket attacks by regime forces on the outskirts of Darat Izza town in the western countryside of Aleppo, in the “de-escalation zone”.
