Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that young men and children have blocked an American convoy of five armoured vehicles in Hamu village in al-Qamishly countryside of al-Hasakah province.

The young men and children have pelted the American armoured vehicles with stones and chanted slogans, expressing their rejection of the US presence in their areas, before the convoy left the area.

This attack was the third of its kind, as US forces were blocked by regime-backed military groups and pro-regime individuals on two other occasions in less than a week.

On October 22, SOHR activists reported that regime soldiers stationed at a checkpoint at the southern entrance of al-Qamishly city in al-Hasakah province in the north-east of Syria prevented a US convoy from passing towards M4 road.

While on October 19, SOHR activists reported that pro-regime members of Hamu village gathered in al-Qamishly al-Sharqy countryside in regime-held areas, and prevented the US tanks from passing through their village towards M4 national road. Therefore, the US convoy turned back and headed towards Khazna town southeastern of al-Qamishly on the international road.
