To make popular base | IRGC grants financial rewards to all Iranian-backed militiamen in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: As Iranian-backed militias are working on recruiting more young and adult men and creating popular base in areas under their control, SOHR activists have reported that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps granted financial rewards to the local fighters in its militias, which reached 50,000 SYL each, while foreign fighter got 90,000 SYL each, commemorating al-Mawlid al-Nabawi anniversary. The rewards were distributed to the fighters operating in Deir Ezzor desert, al-Bokmal city and al-Mayadeen.

On October 17, SOHR activists reported that as the Iranians continued arranging various activities, attempting to polish their image before the residents in areas under their control in west Euphrates region, the “Iranian Culture Centre” in al-Mayadeen city arranged a trip for the students of al-Hasan primary school to Ain Ali shrine in the southern part of the city. The trip to the shrine, which is a prominent Shiite shrine in that region, came as a part of the efforts by Iranian-backed militias to instill their ideologies into the segments of Syrian society, particularly children.
