Old ordnance | Landmine explosion kills civilians in eastern Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have documented the death of two civilians from al-Mazra’a al-Thaletha in the eastern countryside of Aleppo due to the explosion of an old landmine in Maskana desert in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, while they were grazing sheep.

 

Syrian Observatory activists have documented the death of 614 people, including 80 women and 219 children, by mines and IED explosions and the collapse of cracked residential buildings in several areas of the Syrian territory in Homs, Hama, Deir Ezzor, Aleppo and the Syrian South since early January 2019.
