Smuggling crimes | Two smugglers killed and one wounded by SDF at bank of Euphrates River western Deir Ezzor

 

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported the death of one and wounding of another, all working in smuggling goods to the regime-held areas, via Euphrates River in Za’ater village in west village of Deir Ezzor by members of Autonomous Defense forces that are affiliated to the SDF.

According to SOHR sources, members of the Self-Defense Forces stabbed a smuggler and shoot the other, while they were on the bank of Euphrates River in Zagherat Jazeera. One of the two smugglers died of his wounds, after they had been taken to a hospital in al-Raqqah city.

On Oct. 20, SOHR sources reported that a military group of Syria Democratic Forces stormed a house in al-Jerzi village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor last night, arresting a suspect. The security campaign coincided with the flight of helicopters of the International Coalition over the village.

Meanwhile, members of the SDF security group opened fire on several people who got out of their houses to watch the security operation closely, killing two and injuring one.
