Turkish forces pump new reinforcement towards de-escalation zone

 

 

SOHR activists have reported the entry of a new Turkish military reinforcement via Kafr Luceen border at the border of Turkey towards the de-escalation zone. It was composed of 60 vehicles loaded with tanks, military and logistic equipment and moved towards the Turkish bases spreading the region.

 

On Octo, 26, SOHR activists monitored the entry of more than 200 Turkish vehicles through Kherba al-Jouz crossing in the western Idlib countryside on two batches in less than an hour.

 

Over 100 Turkish vehicles entered in the second batch, after a convoy of 100 other vehicles entered previously. The recently arrived convoys have been deployed in the western countryside of Idlib and Jabal al-Zawiyah in south Idlib countryside.

 

SOHR activists just reported the entry of a large Turkish convoy through Kharbet al-Jouz crossing in the western countryside of Idlib. The convoy comprised over 100 vehicles carrying logistic and military equipment, and headed towards the Turkish checkpoints in Jabal al-Zawiyah and west Idlib countryside.

 

The Turkish forces’ new reinforcement brings the number of vehicles and military trucks carrying heavy weaponry, including tanks and artillery pieces, which entered “Putin-Erdogan” area after the statements by Russia and Turkey in late September 2021, regarding Idlib province and Turkey’s fears of a surprise military operation by Russian and regime forces on Idlib to 555.

 

SOHR activists had reported the entry of a Turkish convoy today, through Kafr Lucien crossing in the northern Idlib countryside.

 

The convoy comprised 30 vehicles carrying logistic material and cement blocks, which headed towards the Turkish military checkpoints deep in Idlib province.
