Security vacuum in “Olive Branch” areas | Unidentified individuals kidnap displaced woman from Rif Dimashq with her children

Aleppo province: Sources have reported that unidentified individuals have kidnapped a family of four, a woman and her three children who have been displaced from Rif Dimashq, in Afrin city. While other sources say that the woman with her children have left to Idlib province escorted by one of the relatives of the woman, without informing her husband.

 

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that the Military Police arrested a media activist on charges of dealing with SDF, taking him to an unknown destination. According to SOHR sources, the activist was one of the most prominent activists supporting Turkish-backed factions in Afrin city.

 

On October 26, a joint patrol of the Military Police and Turkish Intelligence arrested a civilian from Sariya village in Ma’batly district on charges of “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration”.

 

Similarly on October 23, a joint patrol of the Military Police and Turkish Intelligence arrested a female lawyer from Kuwera village in Raju district on charges of “participating in protests during the Turkish invasion of Afrin in 2018”.
