Turkish media escalation over anticipated military operation | National Army factions send fighters from Euphrates Shield to Peace Spring areas

 

SOHR activists have reported flows of Turkey-backed factions members from Hewar Kals crossing on northeast Aleppo to the Turkish lands and moving to the Peace Spring areas in the countryside of al-Raqqa and al-Hasakah.

According to SOHR members of factions affiliated to al-Hamzah Division, al-Rahman Crops, Sultan Murad, Ahrar al-Sharqiyah, Jish al-Sharqiyah, Suliman Sha and the 9th Division beside other formations of Turkey-backed National Army have arrived yesterday evening to Tal Abyad at the border with Turkey in north al-Raqqa after crossing the Turkish lands coming from Euphrates Shield areas in Aleppo countryside.

The movements of factions members came amid Turkish military mobilization that arrived in Tal Abyad in the past two days along with Turkish talks about the anticipated launch of an operation that targets SDF-held areas in north east Syria.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported the entry reinforcements loaded with heavy weapons including tanks, armored vehicles, military and logistic equipment towards Tal Abyad City at the border with Turkey withing the Peace Spring areas in north al-Raqqa.

Those activities happened for the second consecutive day amid Turkish talks about the beginning of military operation for targeting the SDF-held areas in northeast al-Raqqa.

On Oct. 24, SOHR activists reported that leaders of the Turkish-backed factions in Afrin Jinderes region summoned all their members.
According to sources, the Turkish forces prepare to transport hundreds of militiamen to Tel Abyad in “Peace Spring” area to launch a military operation.
On October 22, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces brought in military reinforcement, including tanks, artillery pieces, heavy weapons and logistic supplies, to Tel Abyad countryside in the northern countryside of al-Raqqah.
On the other hand, regime forces brought military in reinforcement and soldiers to Ain Issa frontlines in north al-Raqqah countryside, along with the arrival of military reinforcement of SDF on the frontlines with Turkish-backed factions near al-Tarawzeya village in the east of Ain Issa.
