New round of airstrikes | Russian jets attack positions in northern Idlib, with regime rocket fire on perimeter of Turkish posts in eastern countryside

Idlib province: SOHR sources have reported that Russian fighter jets renewed their airstrikes on areas on the Syria border with Iskenderun region in northern Idlib, as six airstrikes have hit former headquarters of the 23rd Division nearby Qah area which hosts a large number of refugee camps. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

 

The Russian airstrikes coincided with regime rocket attacks which targeted the perimeter of the Turkish posts in al-Nayrab, Saan and Majdaliya in the eastern countryside of Idlib.

 

Meanwhile, several reconnaissance drones were seen flying over the region.

 

On October 27, SOHR sources reported that the number of airstrikes executed by Russian fighter jets on Qah area on the Syria border with Iskenderun region to seven. The airstrikes targeted former headquarters of the 23rd Division, but no casualties were reported.
