Excessive speed and traffic violations | Turkish truck killed woman in northern Aleppo countryside

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported ranover accident within Turkey-backed factions areas in north Aleppo countryside. A speedy Turkish truck has hit a woman in front of Qaban Osman’s crossroad that lead to al-Ra’ey square, while population managed to stop the driver and hand him over to the police.

Syrian people in the north have repeatedly complained about the transgressions and carelessness of the Turkish truck drivers who enter Syrian territory for trade purposes.

On October 9, SOHR activists reported that a family of five civilians, a man, a woman and three children, sustained various injuries, as the motorcycle they were travelling on crashed into a speeding Turkish truck near al-Bab al-Jadeed Hospital in al-Bab city in the countryside of Aleppo. The five people were taken to the hospital to receive medical treatment, as the children sustained bruises and fractures, while the man and the woman entered intensive care units due to their serious wounds.

On July 13, SOHR activists documented the death of a man affected by the injury he had after a Turkish armoured vehicle ran over him when he was riding his motorcycle on the road to Sarmad city near the border with Iskenderun region in the northern countryside of Idlib. It is worth noting that the victim was from Dadikh area in eastern Idlib.

Also, in May, Observatory activists documented the death of a Syrian little girl, after a Turkish armoured vehicle ran over her in al-Nayrab area in east Idlib countryside. Meanwhile, the armoured vehicle did not stop to relief the girl who died immediately.

While on January 25, SOHR activists said that a Turkish armoured vehicle ran over a man who had been displaced from Qalaat al-Madiq to northern Idlib, while it was passing, last night, in Kafr Lusin area on the Syria-Turkey border. It is worth noting that the Turkish vehicle did not stop to relief the injured man, which caused his death.
