According to the recent Russian-sponsored agreement | Regime forces remove checkpoints in west Daraa countryside

Daraa province: SOHR sources have reported that regime forces removed their checkpoint on the road between Nawa city and Tasil town in the western countryside of Daraa. This development came a few hours after the removal of seven other checkpoints in the surrounding areas of Da’el city in middle Daraa countryside as a part of the implementation of the terms of the recent agreement between the dignitaries of Daraa and the regime’s security committee, under Russian sponsorship.

On November 3, SOHR activists reported that regime forces brought in military reinforcements to the outskirts of Nahta town in Daraa countryside, in order to storm the town and arrest wanted suspects, who did not strike new reconciliation deals in the town.

The reinforcements comprised vehicles-loaded with heavy machineguns and dozens of soldiers.

SOHR sources had reported that the regime’s security services stormed the house of a suspect in Nahteh town in the eastern countryside of Daraa today. However, the security forces failed to arrest the suspect who was not at home. According to SOHR sources, the security services wanted to arrest the suspect under the pretext that “he has not struck a reconciliation deal”.
