Rocket attacks | Soldiers injured in regime base in Tartus, while regime missiles’ shrapnel hit different areas in Homs and Tartus countryside
Homs province: SOHR activists have reported that fire broke out, after shrapnel of missiles, fired by regime air-defences to intercept Israeli missiles this evening, had hit different positions in Homs and Tartous countryside.
On the other hand, SOHR activists documented the injury of several regime soldiers due to an explosion in a base of air-defense system in Tartus countryside, but it is not known yet if the explosion was caused by the shrapnel the air-defences’ missiles or by the Israeli missiles.
Earlier today, SOHR activists reported that missiles coming from the airspace of north Lebanon hit areas hosting military barracks, the headquarters of a regime-backed prominent military formation and al-Shayrat airbase where the Lebanese Hezbollah and Iranian-backed militias were stationed in the south-eastern countryside of Homs.
In the same context, regime air-defences tried to intercept the missiles and managed to shoot down some of them.
Moreover, SOHR reported hearing sirens of ambulances rushing from Homs city towards the targeted areas. However, no casualties were reported.
