Three attacks in hours | ISIS cells attack SDF positions in rural Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR sources have reported that three SDF military positions came under attack, this evening, by gunmen believed to be of ISIS cells. According to SOHR sources, gunmen opened fire on al-Hadiqah checkpoint, but no casualties have been reported.

 

Also, unknown gunmen on a motorcycle targeted an SDF vehicle with RPG in Daman village, near al-Busayrah city in Deir Ezzor countryside.

 

Meanwhile, SOHR activists had reported that clashes erupted in the evening in al-Busayra city in Deir Ezzor countryside following an attack by ISIS members on the headquarters of the SDF-backed First Brigade, where they targeted the headquarters with RPG shells. However, no casualties were reported.

 

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported new air drop-off by the International Coalition with participation of the SDF in ground in the early hours of Monday. The raid had targeted a house in al-Sobha village in east Deir Ezzor village.

 

According to SOHR activists in the region, a man was killed by fire of the International Coalition forces during his attempt of escaping his house while his brother, a former weapons merchant and his wife were arrested on charges of belonging and dealing with ISIS.
