Death toll update | Family of three killed in al-Qamishly explosion

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that the explosion which took place in al-Helaleya neighborhood in al-Qamishly city in the Autonomous Administration-held areas killed three persons of “Kilu” family.

 

According to SOHR sources, the target was a member of SDF leadership’s advisory council, who was not in the targeted car at the time of the explosion which killed his grandfather, his brother and one of his relatives. However, it is not known yet if the explosion was caused by Turkish drone attack or by explosion of an IED planted previously in the car.

 

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported car explosion that is expected to by military vehicle in al-Hilaliyah district in al-Qamishly city under control of the Autonomous Administration areas. According to SOHR, some bodies seen burnt inside the car due to the blast, that its reasons are unveiled so far, whether it happened by drone or other kinds of explosives.
