For establishing new military airbase | US forces explore area near former regime-backed military regiment in al-Hasakah countryside

Al-Hasakah Province: SOHR activists say that US forces, escorted by SDF, explored a vast area about 15 kilometers to the south-west of al-Hasakah city, today, with the aim to establish a military base and an airbase. SOHR activists have also reported that the area explored today was close to the former regime-backed military regiment of “al-Melibiah’’ which had been disbanded before the beginning of the “Syrian Revolution”.

 

On November nine, SOHR activists reported that the US forces toured military patrol in Tal Tamr town in north al-Hasakah countryside, where the US soldiers walked to explore the area in search for a place that is suitable for establishing new military base.

 

The forces entered with their vehicles the Industrial Scholl in Tal Tamr town.
