Families feud | Child killed in machineguns clashes between two families in SDF-held areas in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that two families “cousins” feud has evolved to violent clashes with machineguns in Shahil town under control of SDF eastern of Deir Ezzor, which caused death of left a young girl by spray bullet, amid calls by populations for security forces to intervene and break the fighting that took place near populated houses.

On November 9, SOHR activists reported clashes between two families from tribe in al-Jobour in al-Hazem village in west of al-Hawl camp in east al-Hasakah countryside near Tashreen oil field.

One of the families killed a man, his wife and a third person from another family. According to SOHR activists in the region, the feud started when school students from two families in al-Jobour tribe advanced to fighting among the families.

The clashes caused death of three persons including a female, and severely wounding one person.
