Increasing arrests | “National Army” factions arrest more people from Afrin for various charges

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that a patrol of “al-Jabha al-Shamiyyah” faction arrested a civilian from the village of  Ma’mal Ushagi in Raju district on November 11 for “participating in marches during the control of the “Autonomous Administration” of Afrin. The civilian was released later after paying a ransom of $1,500.

 

On November 10, military police arrested a civilian from Raju district, while he was in Ma’batli district for unknown charges.

 

Also, on November 14, SOHR sources reported that Sultan Murad faction released three civilians from “Qarah Kul” village in Bulbul district in rural Afrin, northwest of Aleppo, after paying ransoms of 1,000 Turkish liras each. The three civilians had been arrested in early November on charges of “participating in guard shifts during the Kurdish forces’ control of Afrin city.
