Just after striking reconciliations | Regime forces arrest eight civilians in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported growing tension in al-Muhamadeya village in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor over the arrest of eight persons by the military police, while they were leaving the reconciliation centre after they had signed the reconciliation documents and settled their security status.

It is worth noting that the reconciliation deals take place under supervision of tribes’ dignitaries, prominent figures who mediated reconciliation deals between opposition fighters and the Syrian regime, and individuals working for the former head of Legislative Council affiliated to “SDC”, known by his initials as K. A. who lives in al-Ali and has strong ties with Nawaf Ragheb al-Basheer.
