Along with growing tension in al-Qamishly and al-Hasakah | Asayish Forces arrest regime soldiers

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported growing tension between regime forces and the Internal Security Forces “Asayish” in al-Qamishly and al-Hasakah cities following a dispute between both sides in al-Hasakah city. According to SOHR sources, regime soldiers stationed at checkpoints in both al-Qamishly and al-Hasakah cities were seen on high alert. Moreover, Asayish Forces have arrested several regime soldiers.

 

On October 7, SOHR sources reported growing tension between pro-regime individuals and patrols of the Internal Security Forces “Asayish” over the stealing of electrical power transformers in Tel Barrak countryside in al-Hasakah countryside. According to SOHR sources, a state of disorder took place in the town leading people to scrambling pushing each others, which spurred Asayish forces to open fire, injuring nine civilians, some seriously. The injured civilians were taken to hospitals in al-Qamishli, amid reports of attacks by the residents of Tel Barrak on Asayish checkpoints in the region.
