25th attack in 2021 | Israeli missiles hit positions in south of Damascus

As Israel continues its violations against Syria’ sovereignty with no reaction by the Syrian regime, as always, SOHR activists have reported that Isreali missiles fired from the occupied Syrian Golan in the early hours of Wednesday morning targeted positions in southern Damascus, However, no casualties have been reported. While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has yet to be verified of the nature of the targeted sites which are an area hosting headquarters and positions of Iranian-backed militias and Lebanese Hezbollah.

 

It is worth mentioning that this is the 25th Israel attack in Syrian territory in 2021.

  

On November 8, SOHR activists reported that missiles coming from the airspace of north Lebanon hit areas hosting military barracks, the headquarters of a regime-backed prominent military formation and al-Shayrat airbase where the Lebanese Hezbollah and Iranian-backed militias were stationed in the south-eastern countryside of Homs.

 

In the same context, regime air-defences tried to intercept the missiles and managed to shoot down some of them. Moreover, SOHR reported hearing sirens of ambulances rushing from Homs city towards the targeted areas. However, no casualties were reported.
