With ongoing Turkish currency plunge | “Watad” company in Idlib raises fuel prices

As Turkish currency continues to plummet, Watad company run by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham has raised the prices of fuel and oil once again in areas under its control. The new prices were set as follows:

 

  • Imported Petrol: 9.14 TL per litre.

 

  • Oil (high quality): 8.50 TL per litre

 

  • Refined oil: 6.48 TL per litre

 

  • Gas cylinder: 127.5 TL.

 

This development coincided with the beginning of winter in light of the dire living and humanitarian conditions of the residents in areas under Tahrir al-Sham’s control.

 

On November 13, SOHR sources reported that “Watad” petroleum company affiliated with Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham raised the prices of fuel in areas under its control. The new prices were set as follows:

 

  • Petrol (high quality): 46 TL per litre.

 

  • Oil: 15 TL per litre.

 

  • Gas cylinder: 122.5 TL.
