Putin-Eroghan area in October 2021 | 88 murdered including g 30 civilians in violent actions …… Escalation continues by Russians and regime ….. HTS implement Turkish orders

Putin-Erdoghan area that is extended from northeast Latikkia Mountains to northwest of Aleppo city in Hama and Idlib countryside has seen in October continuous escalation by the regime forces and the Russians that were coincided with series of events and tensions related to security chaos or the factional clashes and the Turkish role.
Nearly 40 including more than 20 civilians killed in military operations

SOHR activists have reported in October the death of 39 persons in Putin-Erodoghan area that are categorized as follows:
• 23 civilians including five children, two females, 10 HTS and factions fighters and six soldiers of the regime forces and its proxies in military operation in the region. The deaths break in:

On October 1, a displaced female was killed in Afs region in east Idlib due to rocket attack by the regime forces on Batnah camp in the vicinity of Ma’rat Masreen in Idlib countryside.

On October 3, reliable sources in the “de-escalation zone” have informed the Syrian Observatory that four members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were killed in the explosion of a booby-trapped drone which landed on al-Ruwayha frontline in Idlib countryside.

On October 3, a regime soldier was shot dead by a sniper of the opposition factions on the hill of Abu As’ad in Jabal al-Akrad in north Latakia countryside. Meanwhile, opposition factions and regime forces traded fire on the frontlines of Latakia countryside.

On October 7, SOHR activists have reported that one of the airstrikes which were executed by Russian fighter jets this morning on Basenqoul village in the western countryside of Idlib hit headquarters of al-Asa’ib al-Hamraa (the red headbands) which is affiliated to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham. The airstrike left member of HTS dead and seven others injured.

On October 11, SOHR activists have confirmed the death of three persons in an attack with a guided missile fired by regime forces, while they were collecting logs in Jabal al-Tofahiya area in the administrative borders between north Latakia countryside and west Idlib countryside.

On October 13, SOHR activists have documented the death of two members of Suqur al-Sham due to the explosion of a landmine near the frontlines with regime forces in Binin village in south Idlib countryside.

On October 16, SOHR activists have documented a spike in the number of people who were killed and injured in the bombardment by regime forces Sarmada city on the Syria border with Iskenderun region in the northern countryside of Idlib.

On October 17, SOHR activists have reported the explosion of an old landmine on the outskirts of Kansafra town in the southern countryside of Aleppo, which injured two civilians, one seriously.

On October 19, regime forces bombarded positions in Sarjeh, Quqfin in the southern countryside of Idlin and Kafr Ta’al in the western countryside of Aleppo with Russian-made shells “Krasinball”, killing an opposition fighter and injuring four others in Quqfin.

On October 19, SOHR activists have reported that an HTS member was killed today in an explosion of an old landmine near the frontlines with regime forces in Basretoun road in Aleppo countryside.

On October 20, SOHR activists have reported hearing two explosions in the capital, Damascus, caused by detonating twin IEDs in a bus carrying regime soldiers near Jisr al-Ra’es in Damascus city centre in the early morning. The explosion left at least 14 soldiers dead. While the death toll is expected to rise further as the attack left several persons injured, some seriously. There are unconfirmed reports of more casualties. It is worth noting that a third IED that had been set to explode in the same area was dismantled.

On October 22, SOHR activists have reported that a regime lieutenant died affected by the wounds he sustained previously on the frontlines of Aleppo countryside.

On October 22, a regime soldier was killed due to bombardment by opposition faction on the frontlines of Idlib countryside.

On October 23, a solider of regime forces was shot dead by factions on al-Hadadh frontlines in north Latakkia countryside.

On October 27, child was killed in Russian rocket attack on widows and orphans camp in Termanean town in Idlib countryside.

On October 29, SOHR activists have reported that a jihadist in HTS was killed today, due to the explosion of a landmine on al-Bara frontline in Jabal al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

On October 31, two regime soldiers shot dead, one on Ma’arat Mokhis frontline in Idlib countryside and the other one Bastroon frontline in Aleppo countryside.

Seven killed due to security chaos
SOHR activists have reported the death of seven people due to the security chaos in the HTS-held areas and the factions in Putin-Erdoghan zone in October.

On October 2, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists have documented that clash have been erupted in Wadi al-Naseem in Idlib, between a wanted suspect who killed a policeman and the HTS Special Unit members.

On October 4, body of a man from kafr Sengah was found at the outskirt of Halab Labyah camp in north Idlib countryside near the border with Liwaa Eskandaroon. He was killed in ambiguous conditions.

On October 11, a university man from Idlib countryside was killed by an armed man in the agricultural land of al-Magharah village in Jabal al-Zawiyah in south Idlib countryside.

On October 10, a body of young man was found killed in unknown conditions in Ma’arat Masreen city in north Idlib.

On October 28, SOHR sources have reported that a media activist from Palestine was killed in an IED explosion planted earlier in his vehicle in front of his house in Binnish city to the east of Idlib city. The explosion also injured other civilians, including a woman.

On October 30, a man killed his 10-month-old by severely hitting his head which to skull fractions.

War ordnance explosion killed four people

SOHR activists have reported death of four in war ordnance explosion in October including two children, one civilian and a fighter in Turkistan Islamic Party.

On October 3, fighter of Turkistan Islamic Party was killed in explosion of ammunition warehouse in Wadi al-Nasem region in Idlib city.
On October 7, a child was killed in bomb explosion in Der’aman camp stationed din the vicinity of Termaneen village at the border with Liwaa Iskandaroon in north Idlib.

On October 21, a child was killed in cluster bomb that was expected to be of war remnants in Teftinar town under control of the HTS in Idlib countryside.

On October 24, a young man from Jabal al-Akrad was killed in al-Latikkia countryside due to explosion of cluster bomb when he was picking the olive in western Idlib.

Ongoing battle against the Turkish presence by Jihadist groups
Four Turkish soldiers killed in jihadist groups rejecting the Turkish role and presence in the area.

On October 3, a Turkish soldier was killed in explosion targeted Turkish intelligence pickup truck in Ariha city in Idlib countryside.

On October 15, two Turkish soldiers were killed in IED that targeted a Turkish force armored vehicle near Kafroya-Ma’arat Masreen crossing on Idlib-Bab al-Hawa Road in north Idlib city.

On October 31, a soldier in the Turkish forces was killed of wounds he sustained in the same explosion, which rises the total deaths to three Turkish soldiers, while Siryat Ansar Abou Bakr al-Sidiq group has claimed responsibility of the attack.

Dozens killed and wounded in factional infighting upon Turkish intelligence orders

Putin-Erodoghan area witnessed factional infighting among jihadist factions of different nationalities most prominent of which were from Chechnya, Eastern European countries, Turkey and Azerbaijan on one side and the HTS on the other in west Idlib countryside, Jabal al-Turkman in Latakkia countryside causing death of 34 person from both sides.

SOHR activists have reported in October death of 26 jihadists from Turkey, Azerbaijan and east European countries in violent clashes with HTS on Jisr al-Shoughour and Jabal al-Turkman in Latakkia countryside.

At least eights of HTS fighters were killed during the clashes and the infighting caused dozens of wounded in the two sides. It also led to HTS controlling Talat Abou A’arf on Jabal al-Turkman after expelling Jond Allah groups and also controlled several position that were hotbeds of Turkish Jihadists near al-Lumaidah and al-Zaytounah villages in al-Latakkia countryside where Abou Fatamah group has withdrawn from several hills in the mountain.

Also HTS has detained at least 12 Jihadists, while the Jihadist groups have detained more than 20 members of HTS. Later, on a deal of withdrawal of Hond Allh from al-Turkuman mountain has been concluded and swap of prisoners was conducted.

Also, Turkistan Islamic Party has interfered to settle the conflict and a deal was reached to expel Muslim al-Shishani, head of Jond al-Sham from Jabal al-Turkuman.
Russian air escalation continues in September
SOHR activists have reported reducing number of the Russian air forces raids in October compared to September, as the Russian fighter jets have conducted 55 air raids on Putin-Erdoghan area compared to above 200 raids in September.

The raids focused on nine days: October1,3,7,12,19,23,24,27,30 targeting al-Ziyarah in Sahal al-Ghab in northwest Hama countryside, and on the frontlines of Kabanah, Tolt al-Khoder in Jabal al-Akrad in north Latakkia countryside, and regions of al-Barah, Kansferah, al-Kendah, Harsh Bastaqoul and Jisr al-Shoughour city and the outskirts of al-Kafeer and Qah region in Idlib province.
The air strikes left deaths, wounded and material losses, killing a fighter of HTS in bombardment on Harash Bastaqoul on October 7.

Above 1,200 rocket and artillery fire on 75 positions

Regime helicopters and fighter jets are still absent over Putin-Erdoghan area, while their ground troops have bombarded 75 positions in the residential areas and the secured villages as well as areas controlled by factions with more than 1,2000 rocket and artillery fire.

In west Aleppo countryside, the raids targeted: the vicinity of Daret Azzah, Tadeel, Kafr Ta’al, Kafr A’mah, Taqad, al-A’tareb, Kaftr Nouran and Kityan.

Nearly 50 villages and positions in Idlib countryside including al-Data, Sarmada,Termanenen, Ma’rat Masreen, Batentah, Kafriya, Ma’arat al-Na’asan, Afs, al-Nayrab, Sarmeen, Ariha, Magdilya, Ma’arbleet, Mantaf, Shanan, Sargah, Deir Sunbul, Banein, Kadoruah, al-Rouyha, al-Barah, Kansferah, al-Futirah, Safhoun, Fulifil, Ma’rzaf, Ahsem, jabal al-Arbeen, kafr lata, al-Ramy,, Mor Ayan, la-Mgharah, Mashoun, Yelshoun, Abdita, Ableen, al-Mouzrah, Far Aweed, al-Halwiyah, Janah al-Qourah, Friqqa, Maraj al-Zoohour, Shaghareet, zayzoun, Ain al-hamrah and al-Sheikh Sindyan.

Also 12 villages near to the frontlines in northwest countryside that are still inhabited which are Qastoon, al-Anqawy, Tal Waset, al-Ziyrah, al-Qarqourah, al-Hamydiyah, al-Daqmaq, Qoulideen, Kharbat al-naqous, Homymat, al-Mansourah and al-Sarmaniyah.

Meanwhile, al-Latakkia countryside is subject to ground strikes, and SOHR activists have reported strikes on five frontlines and positions most of which are military one like Kayanah, al-Khouderm al-tofahiya, Doeir al-Akrad and frontlines of Jabal al-Turkman.

As a result, the continuous escalation is obvious by the Syrian regime and its Russian allies against the civilians at sight of the Turkish guarantors who stay silent and brought reinforcements. Meanwhile, HTS continues clearing its image and imposing full sovereignty on the jihadists via creating infighting. HTS also via its institutions in different aspects of life has been controlling different aspects of life while the civilians have been paying the taxes of all sufferings.
