48 hours after the return of latest batch to Syria | Similar batch of Turkish-backed Syrian mercenaries arrives in Libya

Turkish government continues deceiving Syrian, regional and international general opinion regarding its engagement in Libya war by sending Syrian fighters to Libya, despite the Libyan-Libyan consensus and international calls to evacuate all foreign troops from Libya, especially since the Libyan elections approach.

SOHR sources have confirmed that that back-and-forth transfer operations of Turkish-backed Syrian mercenaries from and to Syria continue, although the mercenaries’ salaries have been reduced greatly.

According to very reliable SOHR sources, a new batch of over 150 fighters of the factions of the Turkish-backed “National Army”, including al-Majd Corps, Sultan Murad and al-Hamza Division, arrived in Libya in the past few hours.

It is worth noting that this batch was sent to Libya to replace the batch which had arrived in Syria on November 16, as the recently-arrived batch was transferred with the same aero plane that transferred the other one.

On November 16, SOHR sources reported that a new batch of mercenaries of Turkish-backed factions left Libyan territory on Tuesday, heading to Syria by Turkish aircraft.

The new batch comprised 140 fighters who returned to Syria after suspension of back-and-forth transfer operations for nearly 15 days.

According to SOHR sources, most of the recently-returnees were of “Sultan Murad Division” and “al-Hamza Division”.

Moreover, SOHR sources confirmed that no other batches were sent to Libya to replace the recently-arrived one.
