Afrin violations | Military police beat civilian brutally for calling for restoring his house, while two others arrested at al-Qous checkpoint

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that members of the Turkish-backed military police stationed at al-Qous checkpoint arrested a civilian and his son from Yalanqouzah village in Jendires district in Afrin countryside on November 12, while they were heading to a hospital in Azaz for receiving treatment. The two civilian were arrested for “dealing with the former “Autonomous Administration”.

 

On the other hand, a patrol of the military police stormed a house in al-Zaydiyah neighbourhood owned by a civilian from Jaqla Fouqani village in Sheikh Hadeed district, before the patrol’s members beat him brutally in front of his family, humiliated him and seized his mobile phone. The civilian had dismissed a displaced family who had taken over his house by force three years ago.
