Telecommunication tower out of service | Northern Idlib suffers from interruption of internet service following Russian airstrikes

Idlib province: SOHR sources have reported that internet service has been interrupted in most of the northern part of Idlib province due to the Russian airstrikes which targeted the area of Jabal al-Sammaq area in north-west of Idlib. One of these airstrikes, which killed two workers from the Druze sect while collecting olive, hit a telecommunication tower in that area, putting it out of service.

A few hours ago, SOHR sources documented the death of two civilians and injury of seven others in three Russian airstrikes which hit the outskirts of the village of Taltita inhabited by “Druze Sect” in Jabal-Samaq area, north-west of Idlib. The airstrikes targeted a workshop of civilian collecting olive, according to SOHR activists.

SOHR activists had reported three airstrikes by Russian fighter jets, targeting the positions of jihadist and rebel factions in al-Kabinah hills in the northern Latakia countryside. However, no casualties have been reported.

These airstrikes coincided with flights by two Russian fighter jets over the “de-escalation zone”.
