Syrian desert | Russian jets execute nearly 40 airstrikes since morning

SOHR sources have reported that the number of airstrikes executed by Russian fighter jets on ISIS positions in al-Rassafa and al-Tabni deserts since morning have risen to nearly 40. These airstrikes come after flights by grand reconnaissance aircraft for over 48 hours.

 

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning that three Russian fighter jets consecutively targeted ISIS hideouts in the Syrian desert, as they executed nearly 20 airstrikes on the area from al-Rasafa desert in al-Raqqah to Deir Ezzor desert since morning. Today’s aerial operations brings the number of the Russian airstrikes executed on the Syrian desert since Monday morning to 80.

 

Accordingly, the number of Russian airstrikes which targeted scattered ISIS hideouts in the Syrian desert since early November has exceeded 530.
