Tragedies in Idlib camps | Blazes devour tents of displaced people leaving them in the open

Idlib province: SOHR activists have reported that a fire broke out in al-Madina al-Munawara camp in al in Barisha village of Idlib countryside, devouring some tents inhabited by displaced people, leaving them homeless.

It is worth noting that the displaced civilians suffer harsh living conditions, along with low temperatures and beginning of winter, where they use inflammable plastic-made materials for heating.

On October 24, SOHR activists documented the death of a child affected by the injury he had in a fire that broke out in “Jaber Atharat al-Kuram” camp near Atma town in borders in the northern Idlib countryside, after the explosion of a solar power.

The fire devoured several tents inside the camp which is located in a rugged mountainous area, three kilometers away from the center of the Atma town on the Syria-Turkey border.
