After attacks nearby Turkish base | Turkish forces bring in military reinforcement to “de-escalation zone”

Idlib province: SOHR sources have monitored the arrival of ten Turkish trucks carrying weapons and ammunitions in Turkish military posts in Taftnaz airbase and al-Mastuma camp in Idlib countryside from Turkey.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the arrival of the new reinforcement coincides with Turkish movements in most of the Turkish posts in the “de-escalation zone”, along with aerial and ground operations nearby the Turkish forces.

SOHR activists have monitored that Russian jets have carried out three airstrikes on the area between Qaminas and Sarmin towns, east of Idlib city, where Turkish bases were located in surrounding areas. In addition, the Russian fighter jets targeted the town of Majlia and Maarableet near the city of Areha which also hosted a Turkish base on Aleppo-Latakia highway “M4” with two airstrikes. These airstrikes coincided with the ongoing flights by Russian fighter jets over the region.
