Afrin violations | Corps affiliated to Turkish Intelligence fells over 3,000 olive trees in Bulbul district

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that Al-Sham corps, which is affiliated to the Turkish Intelligence that controls Midanky village in Shiran district of Afrin countryside, has felled over 3,000 olive trees in Naza village this month.

The trees belonged to a civilian from Husn Deira village in Bulbul district in Afrin countryside, where the trees were cut under the pretext that the owner is affiliated to the former “Autonomous Administration”.

Moreover, “Jaish Al-Ahfad” faction cut down over 20 olive trees, which belonged to three brothers from Husn Deira village in Bulbul district in Afrin countryside, for financial benefit.

It is worth noting that the Turkish-backed factions continue their violation against displaced people through forcible selling of houses and systematic felling of olive trees.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that Al-Sultan Murad faction felled more than 100 olive trees belonging to three civilians from Al-Mayadan village in Sharan district controlled by the faction.

Moreover, “Ahrar Al-Sham” faction which controls Asteer village in Afrin countryside has cut down more than 40 pomegranate trees, belonging to a civilian from Khalnera village in the countryside of Afrin.
