After power outage in Allouk station | Residents in Al-Hasakah city and surroundings suffer from water cut-off

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported that interruption of water has plagued Al-Hasakah city and its surrounding areas for two days, after a power cut in Allouk water station which is located near Ras Al-Ain city (Sere Kaniya), in areas under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions in Al-Hasakah countryside. According to SOHR sources, the power outage comes after malfunction in the cables providing the station with electricity in Al-Darbasiyyah city which is controlled by the Autonomous Administration.

On November 25, SOHR activists reported that factions of the Turkish-backed “National Army” stole “electricity poles” in villages in the eastern countryside of Ras Al-Ain (Sere Kaniya).

Members of “Jaish al-Islam and al-Hamza division” removed the electricity poles remained in the villages of Merikis, Bab Al-Khair, Um Oshbah, and Daoudiya and transported them to their headquarters with the aim to get electricity from Allouk station to their headquarters, according to SOHR sources.

Moreover, these factions stole electrical wires from several houses in this area and forced residents to bring electricity wires to their posts.
