Series of arrests in rural Afrin | Pro-Turkish military police arrest mayor in Jenderes district and other civilians

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish-backed “military police” have arrested the mayor of al-Sinaa district in Jenderes neighborhood, after raiding his house on November 25, for unknown reasons. Meanwhile, a patrol of civil police raided a house in Dersuan village in Shiran district this week, arresting a resident form the village also for unknown reasons.

On November 22, “Military police” arrested a resident from Damliu in Raju district on charges of “Insulting” Turkish Forces and dealing with the former “Autonomous Administration” during Their Control of Afrin.
This Came after a fighter of Turkish-backed Factions started to”curse” Kurdish nationalism and beat children from the village. One of the villagers attempted to stop the gunman. Thus, “military police” immediately intervened and arrested the civilian for insulting Turkish forces, taken him to Raju district prison in Afrin countryside
