80th joint patrol | Russian and Turkish forces tour Ayn al-Arab (Kubani)

 

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported new joint-patrol between Turkish and Russian forces in Ayn al-Arab (Kubani), where four Russian vehicles and four Turkish vehicles set off from Ghareb village eastern of Ayn al-Arab.
The patrol passed through Qurah Mogh, Jaishan, Kharabisan Tahtani, Aitoiran Tahtani, Baghdik villages all the way to Khanah Banderkhan village, before returning back to Ghareb village, along with flights by two Russian helicopters over the region.

On November 22, SOHR activists reported seeing Russian and Turkish forces running a new joint patrol in the countryside of Ain al-Arab (Kobani), as the patrol which comprised eight Russian and Turkish military vehicles and two helicopters set off from Ghareeb village, west of Kobani on Syria-Turkey border, and toured some villages in the region, then they returned back to Ghareb village, where Turkish military vehicles entered from a gate near Ghareeb village, while Russian ones returned to their position in the countryside of Kobani.

It is worth noting that this is the 80th joint patrol between Russian and Turkish forces since an agreement reached between the two sides regarding conducting joint patrols in north Syria region.
