Rising tension | Regime checkpoint blocks US military convoy in southern Al-Qamishli

Al-Hasakah province: Reliable sources have informed SOHR that regime soldiers have blocked a US convoy while passing through a checkpoint in Tel Al-Zahab village in west Al-Qamishli countryside. The US convoy withdrew from the area, but no altercations between the two sides were reported.

On November 11, SOHR activists reported that members of the regime-backed National Defence Forces stationed at a checkpoint near the road to Tel Barrak in the southern countryside of Al-Qamishli blocked a US convoy of four vehicles. NDF members prevented the US forces from crossing into Al-Qamishli city, so US forces returned back without conflicts between both sides.
