Curfew following airdrop in Hajin | Residents find bodies of two civilians while International Coalition releases detained person

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that residents have found the bodies of two civilians, who were shot dead in Hajin city in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, along with an airdrop by “International Coalition” and a curfew imposed by SDF in the city in the early hours of Monday.

On the other hand, “International Coalition” has released one of their prisoners, after ending the security campaign.

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that International Coalition Forces, backed by SDF, carried out an airdrop in Hajin city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

According to SOHR sources, the security campaign targeted the house of a former fighter of opposition factions, who had been in Turkey and returned to Syria a few months ago. During the security campaign, which lasted for four hours, Coalition Forces threw several stun grenades in the region, which caused panic among the residents.

On Sunday, SOHR activists reported that SDF military convoy of thirty vehicles headed to the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where the vehicles were deployed in the villages of Jadeed Ekaydat, Al-Dahlah and Al-Soubha. This came as a part of preparations for storming river crossing between SDF-held areas and regime-controlled areas. The arrival of the SDF reinforcement coincided with frequent flights by Coalition helicopters over the region. Meanwhile, six persons from Jadeed Ekydat town were arrested during that security campaign.
