Military escalation | Five regime soldiers and members of Ansar al-Turkistan killed in Sahl al-Ghab

SOHR activists have reported that three members of “Ansar al-Turkistan” from Sahl al-Ghab in the northwestern Hama countryside were killed in artillery fire by regime forces with laser “Krasnopol” shells on Sahl al-Ghab region. Meanwhile, two regime soldiers were shot dead in gunfire by rebel snipers on their post in Sahl al-Ghab.

It is worth noting that, the frontlines continuously witness exchange of fire between rebel factions and jihadists on one hand and regime forces on the other.

On the other hand, the regime forces fired heavy artillery on al-Ankawy, Kherbet al-Naqous, Humaimat villages northwestern of Hama and Tadil, Kafr Ta’al villages in the western Aleppo countryside, meanwhile the rebel factions shelled regime positions in Kafr Batikh village southeastern of Saraqib city in Idlib countryside. However, no casualties have been reported yet.
