Ras al-Ain (Sere Kanyie) countryside | Turkish-backed National Army arrest “al-Ghranjah” tribe dignitary

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that a joint force of “Liwaa al-Shamal and Al-Hamza Division has stormed the house of a dignitary of al-Ghranjah tribe, “Issa al-Khader al-Tawil,” in Amerat village in the southeastern countryside of Ras al-Ain (Sere Kanyie) in al-Hasakah countryside, arresting him for dealing with smugglers, who smuggle SDF members into Turkish territory.

On November 11, SOHR activists pointed that the Local Council in Ras al-Ain dismissed the mayor of Tel Halaf town in “Peace Spring” areas in al-Hasakah countryside, for “inciting residents to demonstrate against the Council. Demonstrations took place nearly ten days ago, where the demonstrators demanded the improvement of their living conditions and called for the expulsion of corrupt officials of Ras al-Ain Local Council.
