Infiltration operation | SDF Special Forces sneak into Turkish military base in north-western Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported that a group of SDF Special Forces carried out an infiltration operation today, targeting a Turkish military base in Azizah area in Tel Tamr countryside in the north-western countryside of al-Hasakah.

According to SOHR sources, the SDF fighters sneaked into the Turkish base where they clashed with Turkish soldiers for an hour. However, no casualties have been reported on both sides.

After the attack, Turkish forces stationed in the targeted base ordered the National Army’s factions operating in that region to put on high alert and search for the group that carrying out the attack.

On November 26, SOHR activists reported clashes with medium and heavy weapons on frontlines of the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah between SDF and Turkish-backed factions following an infiltration attempt by the factions on the frontlines of Sayda village near “M4” highway in Ain Issa in the north of Al-Raqqah province. The clashes were accompanied by exchange of bombardment between both sides.
