Second campaign on Bedouin tents in a few days | A child among three people arrested by regime in Daraa countryside

Daraa province: SOHR sources have reported that regime security service stormed tents, inhabited by Bedouin people displaced from Al-Suwaidaa, in the area between Da’el and Kherbet Ghazalah towns in Daraa countryside. The security services have arrested three people, including a child, for unknown reasons.

It is worth noting that this was the second security campaign on tents inhabited by Bedouin people in Daraa countryside in a few days, as SOHR activists reported on November 27 that regime forces stormed Bedouin tents in Al-Sareya region on the road between Jassim and Al-Faqie’, to the east of Jassim city in Daraa countryside, arresting a civilian. The man was release a few hours later, after mediation by the dignitaries of Jassim city.

It is worth noting that a military official demanded the Bedouin families leave the region, in case they refused to handover the youth in the camp. The dignitaries of Jasim city also mediated to prevent the evacuation of these families.

On the other hand, regime forces inspected the tents, supported by four armored vehicles and another personnel carrying vehicles.
