Intensive rocket fire | Turkish forces shell positions near Ain Issa district

Al-Raqqah province: SOHR sources have reported intensive rocket fire by Turkish forces on al-Mushayrifah and Jahbal areas, silos and a fuel station in eastern Ain Issa in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah. No casualties have been reported.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a group of SDF Special Forces carried out an infiltration operation today, targeting a Turkish military base in Azizah area in Tel Tamr countryside in the north-western countryside of al-Hasakah.

 

According to SOHR sources, the SDF fighters sneaked into the Turkish base where they clashed with Turkish soldiers for an hour. However, no casualties were reported on both sides.

 

After the attack, Turkish forces stationed in the targeted base ordered the National Army’s factions operating in that region to put on high alert and search for the group that carrying out the attack.
