Anticipation for Israeli attacks | Iranian backed militias stationed at Qatari palace in Palmyra

Homs province: SOHR activists have reported that the Iran-backed Fatimyoun militias have transported weapons and ammunition from their headquarters in Palmyra to the Qatari palace known as “Mouza Palace”, which is located in southern Palmyra city in the eastern countryside of Homs, to use it as a shelter against possible Israeli attacks.

The palace belonged to the Qatari royal family, where ISIS had stationed in it after capturing the city in 2015 until the regime forces controlled the area.
It is worth noting that the construction of Qatari royal palace started in 2009 and it was dedicated to the mother of the Qatari prince “Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani”.

On October 29, SOHR reported that Iranian-backed factions continued its corrupted activities in Palmyra city in east Homs countryside via stifling the populations and practice daily violation against them. Such practices have negatively impacted their presence after the got rid of ISIS tyranny, regime forces and its Iranian proxies came to continue the same approach of ISIS but with using other methods since capturing the city in March 2017.
