Amid clashes between Turkish-backed factions and SDF | SDF and Turkish forces exchange shelling in al-Hasakah countryside

Al-Hasakah province: Turkish forces and their backed-factions have fired mortars and rockets on Tel Al-Laban and Kuzliah villages in the western countryside of Tel Tamr in al-Hasakah province, along with exchange of medium and heavy fire between SDF and Turkish- backed factions on the frontlines between the two sides.
In this context, the SDF-backed Tel Tamr Military Council Forces have targeted faction positions. However, no casualties have been reported.

On December 2, SOHR sources reported that a group of SDF Special Forces carried out an infiltration operation, targeting a Turkish military base in Azizah area in Tel Tamr countryside in the north-western countryside of al-Hasakah.

According to SOHR sources, the SDF fighters sneaked into the Turkish base where they clashed with Turkish soldiers for an hour. However, no casualties have been reported on both sides.

After the attack, Turkish forces stationed in the targeted base ordered the National Army’s factions operating in that region to put on high alert and search for the group that carrying out the attack.
